MedFlorence 101: Must-Know Details Before You Start
Here’s the Secret
"It is a very doable exam when you’re able to realize which questions are safety questions and which questions are the ridiculous random questions that don’t matter and don’t count. You can get 40 questions wrong and pass at 85 as long as you get the safety questions correct!"
The NCLEX is NOT a knowledge exam! You cannot possibly learn, memorize, and regurgitate the entire Saunders book that you own—because it won’t help you!
The NCLEX is a SAFETY exam! The boards don’t expect you to know everything; they want to make sure that, in the face of uncertainty, you can practice safely. (We also guarantee that as a new grad nurse, you will encounter many things in the workplace that you won’t have prior knowledge about!)
MedFlorence NCLEX-RN Prep focuses on critical thinking and patient safety, not just memorization. It offers comprehensive practice questions that mirror the real exam’s style and difficulty.
Main Points to Remember
Because the NCLEX is a safety exam, expect to see random diseases, conditions, and medications that you probably won’t know. Go into the test expecting not to know everything. Expect to get questions you don’t know—and be completely comfortable with that! Don’t let it throw you off.
Confidence is key. Many people fail because they let anxiety take over in the testing center. They focus on what they don’t know or panic about the number of questions they’ve answered. Stop that mindset! Stay calm and trust the process.
60% of the NCLEX is just learning how to answer questions and pick the safest option. It’s not about how much you know or how smart you are—it’s about test-taking strategy. The right approach can make all the difference.
That being said, foundational knowledge still matters. Having a solid base will help you navigate questions and actually pass. You can’t pass on just vibes—you need both strategy and knowledge to succeed!
This course is about building the foundational knowledge and the confidence you need to pass.
